It is truly meet to praise the Trinity, God transcendent: the beginningless Father who created all things that came to be; the co-eternal Word born of the Father without change and before the ages; and God the Holy Spirit, proceeding from the Father past speech and timelessly.
It is truly meet to glorify Thee, O God the Word, the God of all things. Hence, to Him before Whom the Cherubim stand with fear and trembling; Whom the Heavens’ hosts glorify; and Who on the third day rose from the tomb and Hades: let us with fear give glory to the Lifegiver, Christ.
With inspired songs befitting God, let us offer praises to the Father, and to the Son, and the Holy Spirit, the Singular Dominion, the Kingship in Three Persons, and Single Sovereignty.

35 Break Thou the arm of the sinner and of the evil man; his sin shall be sought out and be found no more.

In the Lord have I hoped; how will ye say to my soul: Flee unto the mountains like a sparrow?
2 For behold, the sinners have bent their bow, they have prepared arrows for the quiver, to shoot down in a moonless night the upright of heart.
3 For what Thou hast formed they have destroyed; and the righteous man, what hath he done?
4 The Lord is in His holy temple; the Lord, in heaven is His throne; His eyes are set upon the poor man, His eyelids examine the sons of men.
5 The Lord examineth the righteous man and the ungodly; but he that loveth unrighteousness hateth his own soul.

PSALM 11
For the End: A Psalm of David for the Eighth.
Save me, O Lord, for a righteous man there is no more; for truths have diminished from the sons of men.
2 Vain things hath each man spoken to his neighbour; deceitful lips are in his heart, and in his heart hath he spoken evils.
3 Let the Lord destroy all deceitful lips and the tongue that speaketh boastful words, which have said:
4 Our tongue will we magnify, our lips are our own. Who is lord over us?
5 Because of the distress of the beggars and the groaning of the poor, now will I arise, saith the Lord; I will establish them in salvation, I will be manifest therein.

A Psalm of David.
O Lord, who shall abide in Thy tabernacle? and who shall dwell in Thy holy mountain?
2 He that walketh blameless and worketh righteousness, speaking truth in his heart,
3 Who hath not spoken deceitfully with his tongue, neither hath done evil to his neighbour, nor taken up a reproach against those near him.
4 In his sight he that worketh evil is set at nought, be he glorifieth them that fear the Lord. He giveth oath to his neighbour, and forsweareth not.

The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament proclaimeth the work of His hands.

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof, the world, and all that dwell therein.
2 He hath founded it upon the seas, and upon the rivers hath He prepared it.
3 Who shall ascend into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His holy place?
4 He that is innocent in hands and pure in heart, who hath not received his soul in vain, and hath not sworn deceitfully to his neighbour.

For the End: A Psalm for the Sons of Kore.
Thou hast been gracious, O Lord, unto Thy land; Thou hast turned back the captivity of Jacob.
2 Thou hast forgiven the iniquities of Thy people, Thou hast covered all their sins.
3 Thou hast made all Thy wrath to cease, Thou hast turned back from the wrath of Thine anger.
4 Turn us back, O God of our salvation, and turn away Thine anger from us.
5 Wilt Thou be wroth with us unto the ages? Or wilt Thou draw out Thy wrath from generation to generation?
6 O God, Thou wilt turn and quicken us, and Thy people shall be glad in Thee.
7 Show us, O Lord, Thy mercy, and Thy salvation do Thou give unto us.
8 I will hear what the Lord God will speak in me; for He will speak peace to His people and to His saints and to them that turn their heart unto Him.
9 Surely nigh unto them that fear Him is His salvation, that glory may dwell in our land.
10 Mercy and truth are met together, righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
11 Truth is sprung up out of the earth, and righteousness hath looked down from heaven.
12 Yea, for the Lord will give goodness, and our land shall yield her fruit.
13 Righteousness shall go before Him and shall set His footsteps in the way.

Bow down Thine ear, O Lord, and hearken unto me, for poor and needy am I.
2 Preserve my soul, for I am holy; save Thy servant, O my God, that hopeth in Thee.
3 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for unto Thee will I cry all the day long; make glad the soul of Thy servant, for unto Thee have I lifted up my soul.

The Nicene Creed

O spotless, undefiled, incorrupt, immaculate, pure Virgin, Lady Bride of God, who by thy wondrous conceiving hast united God the Word to man, and joined the outcast nature of our race to heavenly things, O only hope of the hopeless, and succour of the embattled, the ready help of them that have recourse to thee, and refuge of all Christians: abhor me not, the sinner, the accursed one, who have altogether made myself unprofitable by shameful thoughts, words, and deeds, and with the heartsease of life’s pleasures am become a thrall in mind.
